Users can now generate additional revenue for patient-pay orders by adding a retail fee to lab tests in the portal. A retail fee is created when a retail price is set for patients above the provider's wholesale price. Additionally, users can add a consultation fee directly to the same bill patients pay for testing. Users can customize fee names in settings. Fees can be adjusted by a percentage or a fixed amount in global settings or on a case-by-case basis.
The new wallet feature simplifies revenue management, enabling users to efficiently allocate credits to future orders or deposit them directly into their bank accounts. Practice Admins can specify revenue usage permissions.
Three new email notifications for usersUsers automatically receive receipt statements for each order that is placed by default. They can choose to opt for weekly or monthly summaries by configuring Receipt Notification Preferences. Practice Admins will receive weekly and monthly summaries for all providers in their clinic. Weekly summaries are sent on Sundays at 8 AM UTC, while monthly summaries are sent on the 1st of each month at 8 AM UTC.
Express Checkout is no longer enabled by default. To enable Express Checkout, users must use the Express Checkout toggle in General Preferences. There will no longer be a warning message for any users during checkout when placing an order with missing required information to reduce interruptions.
With this setting, users can configure default selections for the Personalized Reports module in General Preferences. Users can configure this individually for each report. The For Patient customization will change which version of the report is shared with the patient if the user has enabled report sharing with patients under Notification Preferences. The For Provider customization will change which report components are pre-selected when the provider opens the Personalized Reports module.
The updated interface for the 3-for-$700 and 5-for-$1,000 test bundles simplifies deal selection. Users can view test prices, total savings, and receive alerts when a better deal is available. These improvements ensure clear visibility into pricing and discounts to optimize savings.
Previously, there were three FedEx return links in the kit delivery emails:
These links have been replaced with one new link to a new landing page with an improved landing page and clearer instructions for patients to reduce confusion.
